What ages is Matatalab product designed for?
Matatalab robot is a series of kids-friendly education products designed for kids over 3 years old. The contents are suitable for students from kindergarten to primary school age.
What is the working principle of the Matatalab robot set? Is the Control Tower and MatataBot connected via Bluetooth?
The control tower uses image recognition technology to identify the information of the coding blocks and then transmits it to the robot via Bluetooth.
What preparation is required before use? Is assembly required?
No assembly required! No APP required! You can play with it as soon as you unpack it.
Does Matatalab robot need batteries？
No. Matatalab robot sets are rechargeable with USB-C charger port.
How sturdy is Matatalab product?
Both the Matatalab robot sets have passed the EN71 safety assessment test and the drop test.
Can I design my own map? Is there any requirement for the material?
We encourage users to create their own maps. The material of the map is not limited. You can use paper, cloth, plastic cloth etc. Users need to make sure that the grid size must be 10cm*10cm to match the movement of robot.

How long do the products need for charging? How long do the batteries last?
Average charging time: The control tower needs 4 hours and the robot needs 2 hours. Average using time: Control tower and robot can both work continuously for 4~6 hours.
Is there a warranty?
The warranty period for the product is one year.
